Why PNG is used for cutouts
PNG can store an alpha channel: per-pixel transparency that lets soft edges blend into a new design. JPG does not support that transparency, which is why ClearCut exports cutouts as PNG files.
Very fine hair, motion blur, glass, and similarly coloured foregrounds can still need manual correction. Use a smaller soft brush and short strokes; undo is available if you remove too much.
